COMPANY HISTORY
DeGasperi & Associates was founded in 1976 in Pittsburg, Kansas by Frank DeGasperi. Operating for it's first 25 years as a full-service Design/Build company, it developed a stellar reputation for successful projects located primarily in the Southeast Kansas area, but also throughout the country for locally based companies. The firm's strengths were based on Frank's extensive knowledge in all aspects of Construction and Engineering, and his ability to accomodate each client's unique needs...no matter the size.
Upon Frank's passing in 2001, D&A transitioned to an Architectural firm and relocated to Kansas City under the direction of Frank's son, Jeff. Jeff had grown up in various roles with the company business during his early years, and had been working in various firms the Architectural community in Kansas City since 1978. He brings a broad range of experience in project types and design skills.
The Company has a solid reputation in the Midwest for straightforward owner-driven design solutions. The company prides itself for 'large-firm' abilities and experience, delivered with 'small-firm' personal and attentive service. The Company portfolio is a diverse one, ranging from small projects to very large; and in all project types - industrial, municipal, retail, office, interiors, renovations and large new developments. Strict adherence and focus on value and budget is another trademark of D&A, including a very competitive fee structure.
